Think Soup!
Soup makes a body great by boosting antioxidant levels and helps shrink the waistline. Soup gives the body an antioxidant boost, by helping break down the cell walls and releasing the nutrients found in vegetables, beans and fruits.
Soups, for the most part, are low in calories which can help you slim down. Studies have shown we consume fewer calories during a meal that includes soup because soup is filling and we perceive it as food. Consequently when we eat soup we eat less of other foods during a meal and consume fewer calories. Unlike soups, drinks are not perceived as food so any calories contained in a drink are additive and will contribute to total calories consumed during a meal.
